Pleiades Maia First among equals, Maia is by far the best known of the legendary Pleiades installations, a massive, sprawling academy within the bosom of Arcadia itself. Its location at the crossroads of civilization means that it is arguably THE center of knowledge in all Elibe, a fact only bolstered by its gigantic library. Maia is dedicated to magical knowledge in all its forms rather than the more specific foci of its siblings, though, leaving it a more proper mage academy than the insanity of the spiraling towers of the Taygete for example. |

The Core A mile-wide citadel of sorcerous stone and regenerative biosteel that houses Arcadia's inner workings. While most of it is freely accessible, holding utilities such as the teleporter rooms, the reactor and weapon controls are completely off-limits and nearly impossible to find in the first place. |
