Name: Luna
Gender: Female now
Age: 21
Class: Guard > Samurai> Shogun
Appearance: Luna is a young lass with a well tone body, and a beautiful face. She has long locks of blonde hair and light purple eyes. Her skin is soft to the touch and pale despite the fact she has toned muscles. She wears elegant white armor that is etched with symbols of a moon god. The armor covers her from the neck down to her feet. Underneath her armor she wears a moon pendent made from a mixture of silver, and dragon bones.
Personality: Luna has a very boyish personality despite her looks. She is quick to get angry if someone talks about how pretty she is. She does not like the word cute, nor does she like being called beautiful. If asked she says she is handsome. Other than that quirk she is usually level headed, till she gets into fighting. When she fights she has a tendency to go in and out of berserk rages. At one point she could be analyzing the enemy’s formation and the next she could be charging in head first killing everything that moves. Off the battle field she is a pleasant enough person, but she is very blunt. When it comes to other races she is neutral. She does not hate them, nor does she like them. The only exception to this rule is the black winged tagule. She finds them to be unbelievably cool, and see them as angles of death. Her lifelong fantasy is to find a young raven and train him up as an assassin. Just so he can be known as an angel of death. Her grand dream however is to slay a dragon in single combat.
Backstory: Luna was born in the kingdom of Wolfcrest. A nation of men who worshipped a moon goddess named Feya, who is a human made goddess. The men and woman of Wolfcrest created their grand city by carving out the inside of a mountain. This process took many generations, but in the end they created Wolfcrest a city inside of a mountain hidden from Dragons, Tanule, and even human heretics. The main gate to this city is hidden inside of a small cave. As one approaches the giant steel doors the cave expands giving room for the massive doors to open. The kingdom itself was well designed. The city had a great maze of tunnels that run under the city allowing them to be rid of waste and rain water that may seep down from the mountain. The kingdom itself is illuminated by great glowing stones that are strategically placed to illuminate the entire kingdom. The stones light dims at night, and illuminates in the day. This rotation of diming and brightening deals with the ancient magic sealed within. The kingdom, which is one gigantic city, is separated into five districts. The residential district, the war district, The science district, The market district, and the temple district. From the main gate the first district one encounters is the War district. This is where soldiers train, sleep, eat, and patrol. This is the main defense for the city, and its main attack. Next is the Temple district. It is located at the very center of the city. A great hole is cut from the very top of the mountain allowing the light of the moon to shine down into the moon goddess temple. Right of the temple is the Science district. This is where study and research take place. It is also where the records are held. To the left of the temple market district and to the south is the residential district. The residential district is farthest from the gate, and placed here to protect the civilians.
Wolfcrest however is very class orientated. Men and woman of one occupation always seemed to marry people in the same field, or the field associated with their occupation. There was no law against marriage between people of two completely different occupations, but the act was frowned upon by many within the city. Luna’s parents were two such examples. Luna mother was a soldier, and her father was a scholar. The two occupations did not mix in society, but never the less they married. Their union was frowned upon by man, and when Luna was born the superstition of the other residence seemed to prove true.
Luna was born a sickly child. Many people in the kingdom thought it was punishment by the moon goddess. In desperation her parents brought their daughter to the temple, and prayed to the goddess. The light of the moon at that very moment shinned down through the great hole in mountain and illuminated the alter Luna was lying on. The priest took this as a sign and told the couple that their daughter would live. Luna soon recovered, and grew up a health child. Many people however took this as a sign that the moon goddess was with the young maiden. This fact granted the young maiden many suitors, and was the spark that ignited her hatred of being called cute.
Luna’s parents decided that they wanted to give their daughter back to the moon goddess, but Luna however had different ideas. She had grown up around her mother’s friends from the war corps, and listen to the lectures of the scholars. Luna wanted to see the world, and to see the fabled wing tangul she had heard so much about. When it came time for Luna to decide her occupation she chooses to join the Moon Guard, an order of maidens dedicated to safe guarding the temple of the moon. The corps she specifically joined was designed to observe the outside world and recorded any threats to Wolfcrest. With this decision the young maiden was able to satisfy her parent’s desire for her to serve Feya. She left Wolfcrest with a smile on her face leaving behind the suitors at the great iron door.
She left Wolfcrest with two other maidens. Her radiant white armor shinned for the first time in the morning sun. On her back was her iron greatsword, and at her side her shield sisters. She was now ready to explore the world, and all it had to offer.
