Name: Jinko Razorclaw
Age: 70
Class: Tiger Taguel/"Feral" Warrior [30/5]
Appearance:
Jinko has undergone many changes during her lifetime of fighting against the Monsters, her usage of Overdrive, and other similar things. As things stand currently, she has a very muscular physique and long chestnut brown hair that extends down to her mid-back, her eyes golden and slitted like a true tiger. A pair of black 'stripes' also appear on her face, showing some of the animal heritage as well. In truth, what really shows her animalistic side is her limbs though. Having triangular ears like that of a tiger, as well as a tail to match, these are common signs of the Tiger Tribe that exists within the greater Feline Family. However, Jinko has gone beyond this due to her over reliance of "Overdrive" and her warform that has left a lasting mark upon her physical form. Two large tiger arms, paws and claws included, now take the place of her arms, just as her legs have changed to match.
Of what remains on the 'human'-like side, her skin is a peach color and she wears a few pieces of armor. She wears a pair of jade armored pauldrons adorned with golden tiger heads. She also wears a jade breastplate, and a pair of jade armored leggings that she's been able to customize for her new condition. On occasion, Jinko wears a long cloak that covers her entire form, keeping everything hidden so that she might move around without attracting too much attention should she need to move through an occupied area.
Personality:
Jinko is... unhinged. And that's still putting it rather mildly.
Bordering on becoming what is known as a "Feral" Taguel, Jinko had devoted her life to fighting the Monsters at the fringe of Elibe and the mental effects speak for themselves. A nervous, paranoid, delusional wreck, the Tiger warrior has been left with a hair trigger patience and a temper that explodes like a bomb. Jinko truly tries her best to control herself however, managing to at least not lose it a literal drop of a hat. She has not truly gone Feral yet, but her dwindling control and sanity makes this only a matter of time unless some kind of truly divine miracle occurs.
During combat, it's another story. Jinko has a tendency to lose control at any given time, acting like what is known as a "berserker". The Tiger woman gains the tendency of attacking anything that moves, be it friend or foe. During these times, she also seems to ramble on incoherently about something or another that doesn't seem to make any sense due to the quickness and of what she says and incoherent cries of rage.
Backstory:
Jinko's story is a long one. Raised since childhood by her family to combat the Monsters that spawned in Elibe, constantly fighting for her entire life against the things that threatened to trample all over the home of so many. The Taguel as a whole had held this duty for centuries upon centuries, and during her time fighting the Monsters and put through rigorous training by her own family, she believed that this would also be her fate in due time, to combat the Monsters until the day she died and to go down swinging, killing as many as she could before they finally tore her throat out or simply ran her through with a weapon. This was before she had encountered her first "Feral" Taguel. Taguel that had gone beyond their limits for whatever given reason were called "Feral" by their former peers. And they were hunted down and executed without mercy. This duty fell to Jinko and the rest of her patrol at the time she'd encountered the Feral Taguel and after they had finally put the deranged Taguel down, each was effected by this assignment, but perhaps none more so than Jinko. For the Feral Taguel was her own elder brother.
For a great amount of time, Jinko dwelled on the Feral Taguel and what their presence meant. The potential of a Taguel to go so beyond their limits, to lose the consciousness that they held, and for... what? To go mad and have to put down by their own family? This thought terrified her. It terrified her of what the future might bring. All this time fighting Monsters and there was such a high potential of basically becoming one of them. What was the point?
Jinko's way was shaken, her path obscured. She simply did what she was told for a time, obeying her father and purging the Monsters. It was when she was nearly 40 that things started to change. And change for the worse. She'd started to feel the slipping of her sanity after a time, realizing that things were off, but never really able to place it. She'd fought for so long, for so hard. Her old fears started to come back about the Feral Taguel. No... No, that wouldn't be her fate.
It was in her 50s when she finally started to snap. Caught in an ambush, there was nothing she could do but tap into her unrestrained skills, her comrades dead and Monsters all around. She tore flesh from the creatures with razor sharp claws of honed strength, broke their weapons even as spears pierced her flesh. At the end though, there was only one person left standing among Taguel and Monsters. And that was Jinko. She let loose a savage roar, standing atop the bodies of the slain, blood and fleshy bits dripping from her clawed hands. She started to revert.
The limbs didn't go away.
Her fears resurged. This was it. She was going to become Feral. She was going to lose herself. They were going to come. They were going to kill her.
BUT SHE WAS STILL IN THERE DAMNIT!
She began to panic. She ran, she ran so damn far.
It was years later before a squad found her, ordered to hunt down the "Feral" Taguel that was Jinko. By then, she had already been lost in the first of her blood hazes, the times when she saw only red, only enemies to be destroyed beneath her claws. She recognized her sister among them.
Then they came. Her entire Family.
She broke the most sacred of bonds that day. She had no choice. She just wanted to live.
Jinko became the last of her Family.
She wandered Elibe. The Tiger had nowhere to go. But she had to survive. She wanted to live. She didn't want to die. Her sanity started to deteriorate further and further. Jinko can feel herself sleep away, little by little over the years. What was once there is gone, gone for good. She can feel the "Feral" state coming in. It grins a maddening bloodthirsty grin with her own face in her nightmares. She doesn't want to die. But what will ultimately become of Jinko is still a question. After having gone so long resisting, she still might very well die as a Taguel. And if she doesn't resist any longer, a mighty Feral Taguel she will become indeed.
