Name: Talon Titanstalker
Age: 20
Class: Mage 5
Appearance: Being all laid back and uncaring of popular fashion, Talon wears maroon mage clothes he bought from a random merchant who may or may not of been selling stolen goods and letting them go too cheaply. And because no good adventurer is without a hat, he wears a matching wizards hat. He has piercing eyes and a hard face that easily brighten and startle the unsuspecting person.
Personality: Talon is exactly what people expect and never at all what people expect. At first glance he's an anti-social glaring person. But in reality, he's not in reality at the moment and just thinking really hard. As soon as a person finds a reason to attempt to see what is wrong with the poor creature, they'll find a bright eyed smiling man who is more than happy to help you, even if it's to humor your thinking he has issues. Which doesn't, at least no more than average joe, but perhaps a little less than a crazy person. Anyways, the point being he's an optimistic eccentric who has no problems being awesome or just quietly sitting in a corner. Though of course if you ask him, he's quite awesome. All around, he just wants to show people they can be more than they are and that being human is a gift, not a curse. And he likes dramatic entrances of course. Oh, and of course, being the completely laid back guy he is, serious mode is something you don't want to see. Ever. Unless you don't like breathing and lots of pain, in which case go on ahead.
Also, Talon is extremely smart. Or slightly smart, but definitely above average. In many ways his thought processes can seem strange or startle people, leading to the ridiculous rumors that he's crazy. But more to the point, due to his exploring nature he has fiddled with many things and read about all sorts of things. Or at least heard of them. His problem solving skills are superb (in his opinion), which is one of the reasons he decided to take up magic. The others having to do with looking cool and laser beams, but that's besides the point.
Backstory: Like many adventurers, Talon's home was not the best. But nor was it the worst, if anything it was slightly below average, but leaving it mostly above basic. His younger years were hard, a family with little money and little more than what they needed. A run down home that was livable yet wasn't and yet it was there they lived and called home. Because of this in between world, Talon learned to appreciate what he had and what he didn't have. Which may or may not of been enough or too much. And so, Talon was a man who learned to be content and leave the past as it was, in the past. And he looked to the future, not to make better for himself but for others. Because he was content. Which is to say, he took what was thrown at him, knocked it to the ground and continued onward as if nothing had happened.
Now, because of his contentedness, Talon began seeking adventure, to brighten his slightly less than average but above basic life. And why not? He was perfect for the job, able to take what came in stride and more than willing to be low on food and sleep on rocks and everything else under the sun. And during his adventures he found his spark, his purpose, his goal. Dragons. And no, it has nothing to do with killing them. Because of his contentedness at being human, at taking what came, he wanted to show everyone what being human was. He wanted to show the dragons what being human was. And so,
because of this spark (and maybe some actual lightning) Talon, knowing absolutely nothing about magic and being somewhat adept at swordplay, bought himself a tome and decided to become a mage. After year of semi informal training at a very formal school, Talon found he could easily pick up the basics and was now a mage but yet wasn't a mage; full of potential that hopefully would be used. Eventually that is. And so he was off again, to find more ancient ruins and random places to explore.
