Overview
Weapons are split into four categories, three melee and one ranged: Swords, Axes, Lances, and Bows. Non-magic Basic classes have access to one of these; Advanced classes usually have access to two, though Masteries (see shop) can be used to unlock extra weapon/magic types of your choice. The melee weapon trio forms a weapon triangle: Swords beat Axes beat Lances beat Swords. In the games, this is represented by an increased/reduced chance to hit against weapon types you are advantaged/disadvantaged against - here you can represent it however you like so long as you remember that there is a slight advantage. Bows are not particularly advantaged or disadvantaged against any type of weapon or magic, and are therefore a versatile, powerful option to gain ranged capabilities without delving into magic.
The Shop sells all weapons and masteries, and can be reached via the top bar or this link

Weapon Types
- Iron weapons are the gold standard across the world - cheap, durable, and dangerous in competent hands. While they are essentially inferior Silver weapons, their cheapness makes them an excellent companion for the warrior on a budget, and they really aren't that much worse - it's more of a weight thing.
- Steel weapons are generally heavy or harder to wield, but make up for this with excellent damage potential. Nothing matches a Steel weapon in sheer crushing power, but they are unwieldy enough to be of dubious use in reflexive parrying, though they are excellent at parrying heavy blows.
- Silver weapons are not actually silver, but are honed to excellent sharpness, are relatively lightweight, and possess flawless balance. They are powerful and versatile, good at everything but much more expensive than Iron weapons.
- Killer weapons tend to be razor sharp or viciously serrated, capable of leaving truly horrific wounds or cutting with a finesse that no other blade can match. They are relatively fragile and tend to be very light, poor choices for blocking attacks light and heavy, making them a high-risk, high-reward weapon option.
- Brave weapons are quick and lethal, agile enough to strike twice where most weapons would only hit once, but their extremely light weight reduces the damage of individual blows. They are quick enough to effectively parry light blows, but are quite poor at blocking heavy strikes.
- Slayer weapons are split into Beast and Wyrm Slayers. While middling at best against humans - think Iron weapons - they are enchanted to disrupt the flow of magical energies within a Taguel or Dragon, ignoring half of defensive bonus stats from stones upon striking. Beast Slayers are also effective against horses and their kin, including pegasi and Tarvos, while Wyrmslayers are effective against wyverns and dracozombies.
