Dracozombies are individually the most dangerous beings to have ever set foot on Elibe; dark twins to their proud counterparts, these creatures of bone and sinew exist as a sobering example of what a dragon without self restraint or peers to hold her back could accomplish in sheer destruction - they wield all of a Dragon's power, and perhaps more, but none of one's wisdom. All dracozombies can launch a tremendous assault of putrescent breath, capable of disintegrating flesh and steel with equal unnerving ease, and the strongest among them are surrounded by a wailing storm of razor-edged bone and slicing wind that is again eerily reminiscent of what their living brethren are capable of.
These seemingly-undead creatures do not eat, tire, or even breathe; the same grim magic that holds their frames together lends them eternal endurance and absurd durability, reforming their broken bodies time and time again so long as a spark of magic remains in their hulking forms. Unlike normal dragons, they cannot fly well - whether or not their tattered wings is actually the reason for this is somewhat dubious given how casually they ignore every other law of physics, but this does slow down their path to civilization from wherever they may spawn. They are technically capable of limited flight, but usually more gliding than actual flight, and this is the only action that seems to tire them somewhat, as they quickly return to the ground.
Despite their name, there is no proof that dracozombies are actually resurrected dragons - while the name and common legend certainly implies it, no one has ever observed a dragon - living or dead - transform into a dracozombie, nor have any draconic tombs inspected ever turned out to be empty... but the world of Elibe is a dangerous place, and enough dragons have gone missing during routine patrols or monster extermination missions that the myth continues unabated despite the lack of proof. Interestingly, not even dragons seem to have any answer for the question; they are even more appalled and horrified by the mere concept as humans, and will unhesitatingly lend as much aid as required to Taguel who discover dracozombies, regardless of what is requested. Individual dragons may have different theories on what exactly dracozombies are and what their existence entails, but the sheer unnatural loathing that each and every dragon feels in the presence of one is absolutely universal, and so far not a single dragon has even suggested anything other than a path of absolute genocide.
Dracozombies essentially range from powerful dragons to legendary Divine Dragons in both power and general abilities, and have universally overpowering stats. Discuss your plans with staff BEFORE spawning one - they are the sort of foe that even Elites only fight with a full-on army at their backs.
