Serin
A phenomenally gifted geomancer with limited maturity or experience with her power. Charismatic and confident, bordering on arrogance, without a full understanding of her capabilities and the potential for disaster. Hungry for attention and especially praise, her poor judgement and occasional naivete clash with a fairly well developed understanding of people - she isn't quite as smart as she thinks she is, leaving her vulnerable to manipulation despite her perceptiveness. A potentially powerful force for good or evil depending on how her development goes.

Aggressive and a bit crass at times, a huntress slightly ill at ease among others but fanatically loyal to those who break through her friendly aloofness. Possessed of impressively poor judgement and great power, it is only her genuinely well-meaning nature that keeps her on the straight and narrow, despite a certain laissez-faire attitude to questions of morality that she sometimes abuses. A monster hunter with a near-suicidal urge to pit herself against the strongest. Also a great lover of lore with what could only somewhat jokingly be termed a 'ruin maniac' mode - she is surprisingly well learned and fluent in an unexpected number of tongues given her rough appearance and demeanor. If her wisdom was anywhere near as developed as her intelligence, she would probably be a lot more successful in general.
Loves to be a big damn hero, sometimes loses track of her common sense.

A proud valkyrie with a pleasant disposition, Brynhildr is a budding Celestial who gravitated towards the pursuit of justice as she grew into sentience - finding meaning not so much in complex questions of morality as the simple concept of doing what is right, of protecting those who cannot protect themselves; Elibe is still a new and alien land to her, but learning of its injustice and danger steeled her in her cause.

A forceful and independent young mage who specializes in a rare brand of fire magic known as Pyreflame that is at least as dangerous to the user as it is to its foes. And she should know - her own soul fuels her flames, burning bright as it consumes itself and her along with it. The journey she began years ago will likely end long before her natural lifespan should, should have ended the day she died, but the sheer willpower Kriemhilde brings to bear has allowed her to continue onwards to pursue her goals.

An Abyssal bereft of purpose - still reeling from the loss of her master, Ophelia wanders Elibe as much to satiate her own curiosity about its people as to hunt for clues to her master. Despite suffering from blunted affect that leads to a consistently flat tone and lack of outward emotion, she is in fact quite emotional and prone to imprinting on people quickly, lonely and desperate for attention or affection even if she doesn't really realize it. A little awkward but generally well-meaning. Her attitude extends to fighting, and while she doesn't particular enjoy it Ophelia is fairly powerful and brutally efficient, without the least bit of compunction in killing for self-defense, though the seals limiting her ability take her from cosmic horror down to average adventurer in power level. She doesn't really care that much and doesn't think much of her power, so despite not actively trying to hide it, it tends to not come up much since she only uses the minimum necessary. Doesn't have much of a sense of ethics/morality, but her curiosity gets her into trouble anyways.
Can fit into most sorts of RP, but generally works better with interaction or exploration than generic combat.

A former princess turned refugee when her country was consumed by an disaster. Serene and composed, sometimes to a disconcerting degree; despite her seemingly outgoing nature and predictable do-gooding, she wraps herself under layers of deception, scarred by her losses more than she will ever let on. Searching for meaning and purpose in a world that is still somewhat new to the formerly sheltered royalty, she has taken to adventuring with all that she can, as much to forget the past as to create a new future. Fortunately the savage competition of her siblings forced her to hone her skills in combat to some degree; while not a transcendent warrior Tsuru is nonetheless quite competent with the business end of a sword and augments her offensive prowess with ofuda, magic amulets that allow her to wield her magical power despite her lack of actual skill with magic, by offering mobility and defense that her otherwise-barebones fighting style lacks.
Fits into pretty much anything, she's a borderline-suicidal wannabe hero who's equally at home talking (about other people's problems, not hers), getting into trouble, or joining fights she has no business getting involved in.
