What is a warrior? Somebody who has mastered the art of war. There are many aspects to a warrior outside of battle, it's how they interact with those around them that influences if they're viewed as a hero or a villain. Their very own survival depends on the allies they make along the way. Their legacy is defined by what they fight for, what they do when they're not in battle, and the company they keep. The warrior inside of you is calling out to you, how will you answer that call? Engulf yourself in a world based on Fire Emblem: Binding Blade/Blazing Sword.
Site Features:
- Fire Emblem inspired classes: You can chose any of the classes from the gameboy advance titles for your character, with a couple from Awakening. You can play as a human using any of the classes from the games, or as a dragon using the 'Manakete' or Dragon classes, or even a Taguel from Awakening. Upgrade your class to higher ones for more utility by posting. Sorry, this is an alternate universe, no canon characters allowed.
- 250 soft word count: Gain gold by meeting the word count to buy new weapons or skills. Don't worry, if it doesn't meet the word count you can still post it at the cost of gaining 0 gold.
- Friendly Staff: Should I have to mention this? No, but unfortunately there are some sites out there that has not so friendly staff members. We're always here to help you out.
- Family like community: Most places tend to have little niches where it's intimidating to join in. Everybody at the Way of the Warrior is like a big family spread across the globe. Everybody is welcome and nobody is excluded. Way of the Warrior is a sort of internet version of Cheers.
- Fame/Infamy: Your actions can and will leave a mark on the world, you can make a name for yourself and be remembered by the NPCs you interact with. With enough fame or infamy you may even earn a title based on your actions and forever be remembered by it as you cement yourself in the world's history.
- In it for the long run: Currently the site is over 10 years old and we don't plan on going anywhere any time soon too. Don't worry, you don't need to know any of the site's history to jump on in, and if you would like we have a thread just for you with a tl;dr version of the history.
