Lucia Stark - Prodigal Daughter
Name: Lucia Stark
Race: Human
MBTI: ESTP
Major Arcana: The Chariot
Alignment: Chaotic Good
Appearance: Lucia has fairly wild golden blonde hair that is fairly long in length, inherited from her father. Her eyes are a soft violet, though heavy use of her magic causes her eyes to take on a reddish glow. Her complexion itself is relatively fair - never too pale but she does tan a bit in the sun. Her facial features are considered strong and feminine, neither overly square or too sharp, and she's very well built as a result of her intense training and combat experience over the past decade+.
Personality:
Lucia Stark - Flame of Youth
For those that know Lucia's parents on a personal level, they might say that Lucia is the perfect blend of the two in every way. She inherits a variety of traits from the both of them, and yet Lucia still manages to be her own, unique being. She likes to live fast and in the moment, much like her mother, but when she slows things down she thinks on a larger scale, comparing her goals, ideologies, and objectives to those around him, which is closer to her father.
Lucia is a definite risk-taker. When she sees a challenge, she rushes in without giving a second thought, eager to put her body and mind to test. Though she's been taught patience and does engage in meditation as his training demanded, this side of her personality could never truly be curbed, and though she's young she has been training and fighting for the vast majority of her life. Experience has taught her how to make her training work for her, even the parts that conflict with her personality.
In her youth Lucia's mother was crass and rude intentionally, for her own reasons, where has Lucia's father was, and still is, a very friendly and personable man. Lucia seems to take after her father in this regard. Chatty, sociable and easy to get along with. She's a pretty open-minded person as well, not constantly adhering to her own personal view of things nor bound by what could be labeled as “normal and weird”. She tends to have a simplistic view of people, judging them by their actions and never their race, heritage, and so on.
She is a bit insecure when it comes to comparing herself to her parents. She feels as though she lacks the traits that made her father so beloved and memorable, his vision and peaceful nature. However she also believes that she lacks her mother's will and emotional drive. While she doesn't often mope about her perceived short-comings, she is aware of many of them, even if she has yet to develop the true self-control needed to change himself. However she could do with being able to focus on her strengths beyond her combat prowess.
Lucia can be rather selfless and kind, ready and willing to help others at the drop of a hat when it counts. Lucia is protective of her loved ones and does everything she can to ensure their safety in her own way. What she doesn't see in herself is that she is very willful, in her own way. Perhaps in time, he will be a visionary in her own right...a real hero.
History: Cyrus Wulfe, Aurora Eisengrad, Isaac Stark, and Tifalia Stark. Despite their differing backgrounds and circumstances, these 4 warriors had one thing in common: as children they were orphans, outcasts. Alone and lost. If not for the kindness of one older warrior, who passed away long ago, none of them would have met. And they certainly wouldn't have accomplished what they had.
After fighting great battles against various forces, from the outright nefarious to the unfortunately misguided, the 4 of them settled a bit. Each of them had children, Isaac and Tifalia notably having three, and those children needed a set home. While they still wanted to protect Elibe and earn gold, they'd have to do so in a more organized matter in order to raise their children. And thus the four of them created Nameless: a small guild that the four steadily began to grow over the years. As they didn't enjoy killing Man, Dragon, or Youkai unless necessary, Nameless focused mostly on dealing with monsters. Beasts that were deemed to lack compassion for the other denizens of Elibe.
Of the three Stark children, Lucia was the oldest, followed by Damien and Pyrrha. Immediately Lucia was faced with a great deal of pressure. Not from anyone in particular, just...the fact of who her parents were. Her mother, a human, had taken on a powerful tyrannical earth dragon in single combat. Her father had faced down a villain who had conquered several smaller kingdoms in the far reach, with further ambitions to claim the Lycian Divide as their own, before the Lycian Divide ever heard of them. They were incredibly powerful, talented, and driven warriors.
Lucia wasn't sure if he wanted to be just like them, but he DID want to become the strongest fighter she could be. After deciding she wasn't fit for the more “magical knight” style of fighting that his father mostly employs, with swords and arcane magic, but she also lacked an inherent talent for the Lightning and Wind elements that earned her mother the nickname of “Summer Storm”. However Lucia was more attuned to her style of blending magic with intense martial arts...well, Lucia decided to take what she considered the best of both worlds.
Honing her Arcane magic via intense training and meditation, and her body through combat and even further conditioning, Lucia soon became a promising warrior. She proved herself capable of handling low-leveld missions with other rookies, even fellow children of Nameless' founders, by the stunning age of thirteen. She only pushed himself further and further, and while she did receive her share of scoldings and lectures for her recklessness, Lucia often did either surpass or find her limitations, only stopping to see what she'd have to do to then surpass them further.
Into her young adulthood, now, her parents and the other two founders of Nameless all accepted a dangerous mission. The fact all four of them went was jarring, as they usually agreed at least one should always stay behind. Three whole months after accepting the mission there was no word from them. They had yet to return.
Their children came together to discuss what to do about the situation. They were all concerned, some handling it better than others, and as a result it was difficult for them to decide on just one action to take. While they did decide that Cyrus' son, Kurai, would take the role of Nameless' leadership, little else could be settled. Some of the children felt that others were giving up on their parents, while those others felt that the opposition were too willing to simply hope.
Lucia eventually tired of the arguments, claiming he would do what she could to search for their parents while setting off on her own. She still communicates with Nameless, her siblings, and her friends, but Lucia spends a great deal of his time on the road. She'll receive missions to accept, but her ultimate goal is to continue searching Elibe for her parents. While she's not one to sit by and hope for the best, she refuses to give up on the people she idolizes. The people she loves.
Combat:
Lucia Stark - Blazing Fist of Nameless
Lucia's combat style could be seen as incredibly unique and complex in terms of it's practice, training, and theory. But yet it's application is almost hilariously simplistic. Through years of meditation, forced introspection, and conditioning, Lucia has learned to tap into the powerful magic that resides within her body. Rather than truly bringing that magic out into the world, bending, weaving, creating artificial constructs, or even summoning it out, she prefers to use it to enhance his physical capabilities far beyond what they would otherwise be.
Now Lucia can manipulate his magic, or aura, quite capably. But she is a trained fighter, a brawler and martial artist, rather than a long range mage. Her arcane magic comes out powerfully alongside physical motions, be they a punch or open-palmed thrust, but the range and area of effect is rather small as a result. Not much further than melee range, but the extra burst provides her with superhuman strength, additional knockback, and even magical burns to add to her martial arts. She also uses her magic to harden her flesh and even give herself bursts of speed, or more height to her jumps.
The synergy that creates Lucia's combat style, the deeply intertwined relationship between her mind, body, and soul, is unfortunately fragile. Should Lucia lose control of either participant in this relationship, particularly her emotional soul, then her magic can become ineffective. Since much of it is heavily internalized it can even cause her physical pain or damage should she overexert himself fully, with the absolute worst being irreparable damage.
It doesn't help that her fast, aggressive hand-to-hand martial arts require her to wear very little armour if any at all. Though her Arcane magic can harden his skin it can only do so much, at least in his current state, meaning that for all her strength and skill she is still very much an unarmoured human. For her to truly flourish as a warrior, it is up to her to master her three selves. Should she succeed she could become a true force to be reckoned with. Lucia, in her current state, is much better off in small scale duels or skirmishes, and would be vulnerable if he fought straight on in the midst of a battlefield.
